PACE Profile: Javon Coatie

By: Sarah Panfil, PACE certificate student

Thursday, October 26, 2017

Each month PACE Profiles spotlights a PACE student applying PACE principles in their life and community.

Javon Coatie, of New Castle, Indiana, is a junior in the PACE program, pursuing the certificate in Political And Civic Engagement. Javon first got interested in politics when President Bill Clinton visited his hometown in 5th grade. Now, Javon aspires to work in local government. With the help of the PACE program, he scored an internship last summer working for the Office of the Mayor here in Bloomington. In the following podcast, Javon shares his experience and why the PACE program matters to him.
