Any details you can share about the time frame of your availability would be helpful to include. Some of the events are just around the corner and others are later in the semester.
VOTER REGISTRATION OPPORTUNITIES (we can train you to do this, if need be):
*You will be present to both register voters and inform them about the PACE program
Saturday, April 6, 9:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at Dunn Meadow: Traditional Pow Wow
FACILITATION AND CIVIL DISCOURSE-RELATED OPPORTUNITIES:
Thursday, April 11, 1:30-2:45 p.m. on Indiana Ave.: Office of International Development's Burmese Youth Leadership Program
*For this event, we need 4-6 facilitators to lead a discussion with Burmese students about climate change; students in the past really loved this opportunity
Saturday, May 11, 9:00 a.m.-noon at City Hall and 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Upland Brewery parking lot: Granfalloon
*For this event, we'll be promoting "civility as an art" and educating people about group agreements, facilitation skills, and the PACE program; this is sure to be very fun
